Thing to Do #35 (40/40): Visit All NC Breweries Update!

(The photo to the right is Foothills Sexual Chocolate. It’s a seasonal beer that is IMPOSSIBLE to get and I’ve tried 3 years to grab a taste. I managed to accidentally stumble upon some this year when I wasn’t even trying.)

When I added this goal to my 40 things to do before you’re 40 back in the Fall of 2011, I did say I would only hold myself to the breweries that were currently listed. At that time, there were 49 brewpubs and production breweries. I’m glad I made that rule because as of November 2013 there were 84.

Here’s an update to which breweries I’ve visited. The original list is first and then the additional ones I’ve been to are at the bottom. As of February 2014, I have been to 20 on the original list (33 total):

About Jessica

Mild mannered marketing drone by day. Bucket list adventurer by late afternoon. Having first drafted a list in high school, Jessica's list of things to do before she dies has slowly taken over her life and consumes her thoughts. Because of the list, she has traveled to Mordor, plummeted towards the Earth's surface from 13,000 feet up, cavorted with whale sharks in open water, skinny dipped herself into the Guinness World Book, and cursed the day she was born during the last miles of a Marathon. It's safe to say that if Jessica is doing it, it's on the list.
