Today, almost 3 months after the event, the American Association for Nude Recreation announced that this year’s Skinny Dip Record Challenge was greater than last year’s record setting event. The 2010 AANR World Record Skinny-Dip count is 14,110, beating our own 2009 record.

Just a brief correction: Sunshower Country Club is mistakenly listed as Ohio. It should be listed as Indiana.

One of my goals is to get naked at a nudist camp. Congrats on making it into the Guiness Book of World Records! Good luck with your jump tomorrow!
I’m so glad that the numbers were enough to get you into the book. Haha – do they still publish that information in the actual book form? Or is it all done online now?
They do still publish the book. But I think its going to be in the 2012 book, because the 2011 book is already out. I’ll have to investigate, but I’m definitely getting the book if we’re in there!
The photo is that of the Travelites and some members of the Triangle Area Naturists as well as North Carolina Naturists as they joined the 25-yr. old nonlanded club for the event.
The 2011 book should have the original listing that they created for AANR thanks to Randy Savage.

I would like to get a record of myself listed for this event & was hoping someone could set me in the right direction. We were at Gulf Haven resort in Rockport, Texas. I do no see it listed here though.
Contact the AANR office. Perhaps there was a reason they weren’t listed, i.e. it was an older listing of the particpating clubs. The Guinness World Book Challenge is being resurrected for 2013. Travelites is already planning its event for that day/weekend in South Carolina
