My wife and I used to organize Caribbean cruises with a bunch of college alumni... we hung out at Playa Del Carmen on one of those trips.

We also got to swim with Stingrays.  The water was amazingly clear.

Swimming with whales sounds like an unprecedentedly amazing adventure.  Well done!
